Description

Scope

This record contains raw data from the GITT characterization with intermittent EIS measurements of a negative electrode (anode) harvested from an INR18650-MJ1 Li-ion battery cell. The active material in the electrode is composite graphite/silicon oxide. The measurement is obtained in three-electrode configuration with the working electrode composite graphite/silicon oxide, counter electrode NMC, and reference electrode lithium metal in a coin cell casing. The data is intended to support the parameterization of open-circuit potential (OCP) and lithium diffusion coefficient in the composite material.

Note: the .h5 files have been saved with the Python package Pandas and should only be opened with it. Use the .csv files if you are not using Python or the .parquet files that are in a record linked to this one.

Legend for the dataset column names:

  • "LINE": # of the step in the measurement device script
  • "COMM": type of the step (Charge/Discharge/...); intermittent EIS measurements happen during "Set-Temp", since the measurement device links with the climate chamber
  • "STATE": labels start (3) and end (2) of any step

Relationship Record Description
isPartOf INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Anode Raw Data This collection contains records related to the characterization of the negative electrode (anode) harvested from an INR18650-MJ1 Li-ion battery cell. The active material in the electrode is composite graphite/silicon oxide. The measurement is obtained in three-electrode configuration with the working electrode composite graphite/silicon oxide, counter electrode NMC, and reference electrode lithium metal in a coin cell casing. The data is intended to be used to charactrize the lithium diffusion coefficient in the composite graphite/silicon oxide material to support model-based analysis of MJ1 cells.
IsContinuedBy INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Anode GITT+EIS Data Preprocessing This record contains workflows for packaging GITT measurements obtained during discharging and charging processes within parquet files. The workflows are intended to process GITT data coming from three-electrode configuration with the working electrode composite graphite/silicon oxide, counter electrode NMC, and reference electrode lithium metal in a coin cell casing. The resulting data can then be used for open-circuit potential (OCP) extraction.
IsContinuedBy INR18650-LG-3500-MJ1 Anode GITT+EIS Structured Data This record contains GITT measurements with intermittent EIS measurements during discharge and charge, pre-selected and packaged in parquet files for further analysis. The measurement is obtained in three-electrode configuration with the working electrode composite graphite/silicon oxide, counter electrode NMC, and reference electrode lithium metal in a coin cell casing. The data is intended to support the characterization of the open-circuit potential (OCP) and lithium diffusion proprties of the graphite/silicon oxide active material. Note that the GITT signal floats during EIS measurements.
