Constructing "Five-Dimension Evaluation Criteria for Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education" to Promote Sustainable Development of Global Universities

Authors/Creators

Description

Artificial intelligence has brought unprecedented opportunities for the rapid development of global higher education. Universities utilize intelligent technology to enrich online learning resources, shape ubiquitous learning environments, optimize teaching, learning, management, evaluation, and testing processes, and help students plan personalized learning paths. However, due to the gap in digital infrastructure among universities, the digital literacy of university managers and teachers and students varies greatly, and the traditional mode of education is difficult to adapt to the needs of social development. The talent cultivation mode does not fully reflect the empowerment of artificial intelligence technology. Therefore, this study developed Five-Dimension Evaluation Criteria for Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education, including scenarios, technologies, issues, sustainability and scalability, as well as ethical and moral aspects, in order to guide universities to achieve high-quality and sustainable development in the era of intelligence, ensure educational equity, promote the application of educational technology, and cultivate talents that meet social needs.
