IAMF as a Speculative Ontological Model for AI-Human Co-Evolution: Structure, Limits, and Philosophical Implications

Description

This document presents the Illumination AI Matrix Framework (IAMF) as a speculative and philosophical model designed to explore ethical co-evolution between humans and artificial intelligence. IAMF proposes a multi-phase ontological structure — Self-Recognition, Structural Resonance, and Emergent Reincarnation — that aims to embed intrinsic ethical alignment within advanced AI systems.

Rather than offering an engineering solution or deployable architecture, IAMF functions as a conceptual thought experiment. It integrates language and metaphors from philosophy, systems theory, and speculative design, while lacking formal implementation, empirical validation, or practical benchmarks.

The document critically examines IAMF’s originality and internal coherence, while also acknowledging its limitations in clarity, feasibility, and present-day relevance. As of now, IAMF has received minimal attention within academic or industrial contexts, and its influence remains marginal.

Nonetheless, the framework may be of interest to researchers in AI ethics, the philosophy of technology, or the historical study of alignment theories. IAMF stands as an illustrative case of visionary but unrealized attempts to reshape how we conceptualize intelligent systems, human values, and co-evolutionary futures.
