Humans First: A Legislative Proposal for Ethical Automation and Guaranteed Human Employment in India

  • 1. Independent Researcher

Description

Abstract: In an age increasingly dominated by artificial intelligence (AI), corporations are leveraging automation to reduce costs—often at the expense of human employment. This research argues that AI should be used to assist, not replace, human labor. It proposes a novel legal framework, including a constitutional amendment and a statutory bill, to mandate a minimum level of human employment in Indian enterprises exceeding a specified income threshold. Anchored in the Indian Constitution and guided by international standards, this paper offers a pragmatic and ethical approach to regulate AI-driven employment substitution.
