Abstract:
This paper aims to address the potential risks
associated with e-commerce websites and explore
the actions that can mitigate these threats. The
rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce has
indeed increased web risk, including fraud, data
theft, Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. These
threats have repercussions for both businesses and
users. The findings, through these threats, show
the combination of technological solutions, best
practices, and policy regulations played an
important role in a secure and trustworthy e-
commerce environment was significant. It did
show that the main idea is to choose the sufficient
number of security methods such as encryption,
fraud detection systems, and user education
programs to ensure the operation of payment
transactions on the internet will be safe.
Moreover, the paper explores the impact of data
protection laws and the validity of implementing
emerging technologies like AI and blockchain to
minimize fraud and maximize security. The
primary focus is to give a complete approach for
businesses to protect them and their clients in the
digital world.
