Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease of connective tissue with predominant joint involvement in the form of erosive-destructive progressive polyarthritis. Felty's syndrome is a variant of RA that includes chronic polyarthritis, splenomegaly, and leukopenia.
