FIG. 6. Phylogenetic relationships of Sesbania species and hypotheses of dispersal history using current distributions of subclades. Estimated ages (average 6 s.d.) are reported for some of the principal subclades (Table 3; Fig. 5). Hypothesized dispersal corridors depicted alphanumerically follow the Discussion section. Dashed vectors suggest hypothesized long-distance transoceanic dispersal.
