THEORIZATION OF THE POSSIBILITY OF OBSERVING AND MEASURING THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD OF A NEURON

  • 1. Maxwell Laboratory of Microwave and Applied Electromagnetism

Description

This study analyzes the electromagnetic field generated by neurons during electrical and chemical communication. It utilizes Ohm's Law and biological data to determine the fundamental elements of the magnetic field, such as the current generated by the action potential, the resulting magnetic field, and membrane capacitance. Additionally, a graph was created in Scilab to visualize the electrical behavior of a neuron.
