Draft Law of Ukraine Amending Legislation on National Open Science Policy

This document represents the first key deliverable in the project's critical "Development" phase. It builds on EU best practices identified in the preceeding "Preparation" phase (particularly on the Open4UA’s "Recommendations for the Open Science and Research Assessment reforms in Ukraine" - https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11203590), along with national consensus fostered through crosscutting project activities and discussions at the 2024 Kharkiv International Legal Forum. The draft Law of Ukraine will serve as the foundation for national reform and guide subsequent project activities. The deliverable combines EU best practices with the expertise of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (NLU), one of Ukraine's oldest and largest law schools.
