IMAGING OF COMPOSITES BY HELICAL X-RAY COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY
Authors/Creators
Description
Helical X-ray CT could provide extended information in one direction with sufficient details, allowing to observe overall macro-damage and locate local micro-damage simultaneously. This strategy proves effective to track fatigue damage evolution in unidirectionally reinforced fibre composites and could be applicable to time-lapse study of fibre reinforced composites under a wide range of testing scenarios.
