FLEXIBLE SUPERCAPACITORS BASED ON ALIGNED CARBON NANOTUBES WITH UNIQUE NANOSTRUCTURE

Flexible supercapacitors �based on aligned carbon nanotubes as electrodes were fabricated successfully. Different than randomly dispersed carbon nanotubes that were used for a flexible electrode matrix in the current literature, the flexible aligned carbon nanotube electrodes herein have a textured nanostructure with aligned channels to enhance the ion transport, resulting in superior electrochemical performances.
