This is the release version of the code and data for this project. It contains all the code and data to go from spike times to the figures appearing in the PLOS Biology paper: "Precise spike-timing information in the brainstem is well aligned with the needs of communication and the perception of environmental sounds".

It is also the first time that the data are being made available for the classic 1994 studies by Bill Rhode and Steve Greenberg.
