INNOVATIVE METHODS OF CARDIAC REHABILITATION AFTER CABG AND PCI: CURRENT TRENDS AND PROSPECTS

Description

This review article presents contemporary international approaches to cardiac rehabilitation for patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). A systematic analysis of literature from the past 10 years was conducted, focusing on the effectiveness of various rehabilitation models: inpatient, outpatient, home-based, and telerehabilitation. The article highlights issues of individualizing physical activity, utilizing digital technologies, implementing a staged recovery process, and providing multidisciplinary support. Special attention is paid to the impact of rehabilitation programs on mortality, hospitalization rates, exercise tolerance, and quality of life. Differences in management strategies for patients after CABG and PCI are presented, taking into account vascular anatomy, residual ischemia, and comorbidities. The synthesis of current data has enabled the formulation of practical recommendations and identification of key areas for further research.
