Description

This paper explores theatre pedagogy as a dynamic framework for the development of communication skills. It traces the historical evolution of theatrical education from antiquity to the present, highlighting its role as a means of moral instruction and social critique. The study analyzes the core principles of theatre pedagogy—experiential learning, collaboration, and self-expression—while also examining its contribution to the cultivation of empathy and emotional intelligence. Focusing on communication skills, the paper investigates their importance for both personal and social development and their integration into theatrical practices. Through examples and practical suggestions, the paper illustrates how theatre pedagogy can be applied in educational contexts, emphasizing its potential to enhance communicative effectiveness and promote a holistic approach to learning. This study aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse on the value of theatre as an educational tool, offering a comprehensive analysis for educators, researchers, and professionals interested in enriching the communicative and social dimensions of learning.
