This dataset contains infrasound waveforms to accompany the peer-reviewed manuscript “Evaluation of a Generalized Least Squares Algorithm for Infrasound Beamforming with Coherent Background Noise” submitted for publication in the journal Geophysical Journal International by Jordan W. Bishop, Philip Blom, and Jeremy Webster. It contains the infrasound data used to create Figures 8 and 9 in the manuscript. Results using this data have previously been published as Blom (2019) and Blom (2024), for example, and we seek to release this data publicly for compliance with the journal’s Data Availability section. Seven of the waveform files contain infrasound recordings of the 2016 Forensic Surface Experiment recorded at a LANL infrasound array in St. George, UT, USA. The other ten recordings are of a 2020 bolide recorded at the International Monitoring System array I37NO in Norway.
