Image analysis lecture and workshop delivered at AI Tools in Biology Course at Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences), Uppsala, Sweden. The slides give an introduction to what is bioimage analysis, what are images and their characteristics, common steps and algorithms in preprocessing, segmentation and quantification, as well as Deep Learning tools being used in image analysis.
