Description

These are figures moved from Appendices of the paper “Observational mapping of the mass discrepancy in eclipsing binaries II. A new self-contained framework for concurrent analysis of photometric and spectroscopic time series” (Serebriakova et al., accepted for publication in Astronomy & Astrophysics on 29 Apr 2025).  Appendices have been moved to Zenodo following the request of the Editor. We further refer to them as Appendices D, E, and F for convenience. The figures illustrate performance of the proposed modelling framework.

Appendix D: Configuration file example.

A commented .txt version of a typical configuration file is included to illustrate the parameters and setup for concurrent light curve and spectroscopic fitting. The actual input format is JSON, and comments must be deleted for using this file as config.json.

Appendix E: Corner plots from tests on synthetic systems.

These plots show the final-generation parameter distributions for five synthetic binary systems used for validations (see details in the corresponding paper).

Appendix F: Population evolution plots.

Figures show the evolution of fitted parameters across generations during the GA optimization process. Systems include both synthetic tests and real observed targets from the benchmark sample.
