Eupogonius petulans Melzer, 1933: 378.
Remarks. – This species was described from Brazil (Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul) and Argentina (Tucumán). Currently, it is known from Brazil (Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul), Argentina (Tucumán, Entre Ríos, and Buenos Aires), and Uruguay (Monné 2024; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024).
Material examined. – BRASIL, São Paulo (new state record): São Paulo, Museu de Zoologia, 23º35'17"S 46º36'37"W, 780 m, 1 male (MZSP 67361), 31.X.2024, T. Polizei leg. (MZSP).
