Description

A snapshot of an early prototype for displaying annotated Open Seadragon or other image files in a web interface called 'Scriptopict'.

You may need to access the application through a web host (which may be locally hosted) rather than simply open the html files from your computer, to avoid some CORS errors or other errors.

Examples:

  • The Battle of Kurukshetra Mural at Angkor Wat
  • Mixtex Codex 'Yuta Tnoho' or 'Vindobonensis'
  • Sebald's Anatomy Lesson

This also includes a fully stitched version of the The Battle of Kurukshetra Mural at Angkor Wat and the Mixtec Yuta Tnoho Codex.

The Mixtec Yuta Tnoho Codex section includes a focus on places and place names, and some comparison with the Popul Vuh. This is very much speculative and part of demonstrating how this system and project would work and is not definitive information about the Codex Yuta Tnoho, or about the Battle of Kurukshetra mural.
