A Mathematical Theory of Consciousness
Description
In this paper, the author proposes a phenomenological ansatz, Δt = f(ΔI), to relate objective information gained by an organism and its perception of time. Intervals of spacetime are thus perceived on the basis of information acquired from sensory sampling. We show that this ansatz clarifies our view of entropy amplification in axon tracts and the presence of multiple time scales in subjective perception, the latter being a phenomenon recorded in psychophysics.
