Description

Abstract

Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) is becoming an indispensable method in the process of promoting green in the businesses as Indigenous Resources. A lot had been written about GHRM by the very big organizations but still nobody was done with its usage by the Indian Micro, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (MSMEs). Research is carried out based on the 40 respondent data provided from different sectors of the MSMEs regarding the acceptance of GHRM, and if there is any challenge and the consequences in Indian MSMEs. The research is analyzed and it affirms some factors responsible for the implementation of GHRM using statistical tools such as regression models, correlation analysis and t tests. With this result, green employee engagement and training and development are widely used and the green compensation and rewards are at the bottom of their implementation. The statistical study indicates that corporation with greater advantages (higher productivity and cost effectiveness) would have better adoption of GHRM. However, the legislative loopholes and budget constraints leave room for misconduct in GHRM, which is similarly hindering MSMEs from totally adopting GHRM. The study findings imply that MSMEs can be supported in adopting GHRM through focusing trainings, technology integration and well structured regulations. By closing a large gap, the study provides empirical insights into the use of GHRM in small enterprises. In the future research, they have yet to be examined with long term effects and sector precise adaptations. Conclusions of the study should prove useful to HR officials, legislators and those corporate planners who are planning in the long run for a definite labour.
