Addendum to the Terms of Reference for the FAIR Reference Group in 2026

The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science has decided that the work on the FAIR Strategy will be continued until the end of 2026. A new mandate will not be prepared for this period; instead, the present addendum has been formulated to ensure flexibility and establish guidelines for identifying areas of focus and developing action plans. Based on the reporting for 2025, the agency will decide whether the work should continue beyond 2026.

The addendum includes an updated description of the mandate for both the FAIR Follow-up Group and the associated working groups in 2026. It has been developed based on the results achieved so far in the implementation of the National Strategy for Data Management based on the FAIR principles.
