Description
La Grande Rivoire rock shelter is locataed in Isère, France. This dataset concerns the physical refits identified in the First and Second Mesolithic faunal and lithic material from three sectors of the site (NR16-22, SU12-15, SU16-22). This record includes:
· grande-rivoire-connection-1M.csv. data on refitted artefacts from the First Mesolithic layers. Each line documents a refitting relationship between two objects:
o id1: unique identifier of the first object
o id2: unique identifier of the second object
· grande-rivoire-fragments-1M.csv. data on refitted artefacts from the First Mesolithic layers. Each line documents an object with the following variables:
o id: unique identifier of each object
o layer: archaeological layer
o layer.su: combination of archaeological layer and sedimentary unit
o sector: artifact's sector of origin (NR16-22, SU16-22 or NR12-15)
o type: type of object (faunal or lithic)
· grande-rivoire-connection-2M.csv. data on refitted faunal artefacts from the Second Mesolithic layers. Each line documents a refitting relationship between two objects:
o id1: unique identifier of the first object
o id2: unique identifier of the second object
· grande-rivoire-fragments-2M.csv. data on refitted faunal artefacts from the Second Mesolithic layers. Each line documents an object with the following variables:
o id: unique identifier of each object
o layer: archaeological layer
o layer.su: combination of archaeological layer and sedimentary unit
o sector: artifact's sector of origin (NR16-22, SU16-22 or NR12-15)
