Description

In 2016, the European Commission, the SET Plan countries, and industry and researchers agreed on 10 targets for CCS and CCU for 2030. These were updated in 2020 to reflect beter the direc􀆟on of the sector under the Fit for 55 package, including the challenges ahead. To deliver on the 10 targets, IWG9 iden􀆟fied 8 R&I ac􀆟vi􀆟es. The tables below showcase the new targets and its suppor􀆟ng R&I ac􀆟vi􀆟es to ensure the ICMS and Europe’s targets for CCS and CCU are met.
