Description
Abstract:
This study looks at how the socioeconomic standing of tribal tribes in Dahanu, Maharashtra, is affected by fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The findings of the study indicate that FMCG has significantly altered employment, consumption, and income levels. FMCG has boosted product availability and produced jobs, but it has also resulted in cultural shifts, increased spending patterns, and financial dependence. Policymakers should combine cultural preservation with economic development, according to the report. To guarantee sustainable socioeconomic progress, it is advised to implement culturally inclusive legislation, encourage local enterprises, and financial literacy initiatives.
