Cognitive Performance Music™: Rewiring Learning Through Sound
Description
Cognitive Performance Music™ (CPM) is a new genre of neuroscience-aligned music designed to enhance attention, motivation, and emotional engagement in learning. Developed independently by Dr. Vik Perez, this framework integrates affective neuroscience, sound design, and entrepreneurial cognition to create music that activates the brain for optimized learning readiness.
This white paper outlines the theoretical foundations, proprietary methodology, early global validation, and strategic roadmap of CPM. It presents a vision for the future of emotionally intelligent education, where music becomes a tool for activating learner performance across disciplines and contexts.
Featured by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) and presented at the University of Oxford, Cognitive Performance Music™ is now being adopted across classrooms, coaching environments, and mental wellness initiatives. This document serves as the official public reference for CPM’s origin, mission, and application potential.
This is Version 1.1 of the white paper. The update includes the finalized DOI and minor formatting enhancements. The core content, framework, and methodology remain unchanged from Version 1.0. This version should be cited for academic and public reference purposes.
