The article examines the concept of the “ethics of care” as an essential moral and ethical guideline for modern society undergoing global transformations. Particular attention is given to the artistic representation of this phenomenon in children's literature, specifically in the poetic and prose works of Halyna Kyrpa. The study analyzes how the author conveys the key values of care—responsibility, empathy, kindness, love, and concern for the surrounding world—through the images of her characters. The article emphasizes that the ethics of care encompasses not only interpersonal relationships but also interactions with nature and animals, contributing to the formation of a harmonious worldview in children. It is noted that Halyna Kyrpa’s works, such as “The Moon in a Cradle” and “The Most Motherly Mother,” illustrate the importance of family bonds, mutual support, and sensitivity in everyday life. The author applies literary reminiscences, fairy-tale elements, and emotionally rich descriptions to create an atmosphere of care and love. The paper highlights the role of children's literature in fostering humanistic values, expanding the understanding of the ethics of care as a foundation for the harmonious development of the individual.
