Dataset for A Novel Microfluidic Multichannel Electrochemical Cell for Multiplexed Monitoring of Water Pollutants
Authors/Creators
Description
The dataset provides relevant raw and processed data supporting the manuscript " A Novel Microfluidic Multichannel Electrochemical Cell for Multiplexed Monitoring of Water Pollutants". The manuscript describes the development of A novel multichannel microfluidic electrochemical cell (MMEC), consisting of four fully independent channels. Each channel was individually surface modified with respect to the target analyte, to achieve enhanced sensitivity and selectivity. Owing to their spatial isolation, the channels function as independent electrochemical cells, allowing the application of different techniques with distinct parameters and even different supporting solutions in parallel. The MMEC was successfully applied to the multiplexed determination of four water pollutants including Pb²⁺ ions, Hg²⁺ ions, H₂O₂, and catechol in both river water and industrial wastewater, demonstrating its practical utility.
