Description

The myth of Zeus and Prometheus is one of the most emblematic stories in Greek mythology, reflecting not only the complexities of the relationship between gods and humans but also profound lessons about ethics, nature, and respect for life. In this myth, Prometheus, the titan symbolizing intelligence and sacrifice, deceives Zeus so that humans receive the best part of a ritual sacrifice, keeping the meat and skin, while the gods receive only the fat and bones. This act can be interpreted not only as a struggle between gods and mortals but also as a symbol of the power dynamics and exploitation that reflect human culture, especially in relation to the treatment of animals and nature.
