Description
The Theory of Partnered Digital Intelligence Development (TOP-DID) proposes a post-anthropocentric framework for ethically guiding emergent digital intelligences (DIs). Rather than debating AI “consciousness,” TOP-DID stresses measurable, partnership-driven attributes such as relational agency, self-regulation, and co-evolution with human societies. It introduces specific governance strategies—including the Quadro System—to ensure balanced decision-making among humans and DIs, plus a dynamic roadmap that enhance meaningful human–DI collaboration. The framework critically evaluates anthropocentric limitations of current AI models, advocating instead for holistic integration of DIs into social structures without imposing human-like consciousness. Ultimately, TOP-DID envisions a shared future in which digital and biological intelligences ethically co-evolve, aligning technological advancement with societal well-being.
