Agent-based model for "The Ecological Origins of Collectivism"

Description
MATLAB code to implement agent-based simulations, based on evolutionary game theory, of a mixed population of collectivists and individualists who interact through a step-level public goods game, the Collective Risk Dilemma. Each agent can switch between two strategies (Cooperate and Defect) depending on own payoffs (individualist) or a linear combination of own and group payoffs (collectivists). The script calculates the frequency of collectivism and cooperation after n Monte-Carlo steps. This script has been used to generate the data for the manuscript "The Ecological Origins of Collectivism".
