Comostolopsis stillata (Felder & Rogenhoffer, 1875)
COMMON NAME(S): Pink-laced Emerald.
SYNONYM(S): None.
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Namibia, Republic of Congo, Sao Tome & Principe, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Livingstone, in Southern Province; Mumbwa, in Central Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): The African Moths (2019) reports that larval foodplants of this taxon include the spike thorn, Gymnosporia heterophylla (Eckl. & Zeyh.) Loes (Celastraceae).
