COMMON NAME(S): Saturniid.

SYNONYM(S): None.

IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).

DISTRIBUTION: Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mpika, in Muchinga Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include Brachystegia spiciformis Benth (Caesalpiniaceae) (African Moths 2019; Pinhey 1972a, b).
