Description

Ophiogomphus cecilia Fourcroy, 1785

is a dragonfly species which remains under strict species protection in Poland (Ustawa z Dnia 16 kwietnia 2004 r. o Ochronie Przyrody). The larvae inhabit clean lowland watercourses which are characterised by slow currents and sandy or sandy-stony bottoms (Burkart & Suhling 2021).
