Response of a deep excavation in London supported by a multi-propped retaining wall with parametrised geometry

  • 1. ROR icon Imperial College London

Description

These files contain the horizontal displacement of a multi-propped retaining wall supporting an excavation in London Clay for various combinations of parameters. The parametrisation of this structure includes the excavation width W, excavation depth H, prop spacing Sp, Made Ground layer thickness t_MG and diaphragm wall thickness t_DW.

There are two files, one containing the testing database and one containing the training database. These were obtained using PLAXIS 2024.01, modelling the London Clay using IC MAGE M01, which is a hypoelastic model combined with a Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion.
