— Lepturopetium kuniense (Gramineae),
a rare species typical of raised coral reefs and belonging to a bispecific Pacific genus described from New Caledonia but with a very disjunct distribution reaching from the Marshall Islands in the North East to Cocos Island west of Australia in the Indian Ocean;
