Bayero University Journal of Finance (BUJF) is a peer-reviewed, biannual academic journal published by the Department of Finance, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. The Journal aims to promote and expand knowledge in the field of finance, including corporate and public finance, investment, banking, financial economics, accounting, financial management, money and capital markets, insurance, and Islamic finance. BUJF is designed to foster academic collaboration among scholars, professionals, and policymakers, allowing them to share their research findings with the academic community, policymakers, and the public.

 

Call for Submissions

Bayero University Journal of Finance invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners to submit original research papers, case studies, and literature reviews that contribute to the advancement of theory and practice of finance in various areas of human endeavors. We welcome submissions related to:

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscript Formatting:
    • Typed with 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper.
    • Margins: 1.25 inches (left) and 1.13 inches (right).
    • Font: Times New Roman, 12 points.
  • Submission Process:
    • Submit a soft copy of the manuscript via email to bujf@buk.edu.ng in an editable electronic format, preferably Microsoft Word.
    • Preferred reference style: American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition.
    • Include a brief bio-data of the author(s) (not more than 100 words).
    • Provide an abstract of not more than 250 words on a separate page.
    • Articles should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words (15 to 20 pages).
 

Review Process

Each paper will undergo at least two blind peer reviews. Papers submitted to BUJF should not be under review elsewhere.
