Description

Matrix meets Data Fellows – Learning Objectives as a Starting Point for the Development of Trainings for (Future) Data Stewards was presented during Fellowship of the Data 2025 in Jena.

The presentations points out to the matrix of learning objectives for research data management (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7034477) as a structured framework to support the design and evaluation of training initiatives in the field of RDM. Given the evolving nature of the Data Steward role and the increasing demand for tailored, skill-based trainings in handling research data, the matrix offers an adaptable tool for training developers and institutions. This presentation introduces the matrix as a community product and discusses its potential use in practice-oriented education and professional development.
