Ukrainisms in special military operation discourse
Description
The article adresses the problem of Ukrainisms implementation in the Russian language through the prism of special military operation. The Ukrainian and Russian languages opposition is one of the most acute problems of modern media discourse. The study relevance is determined by the necessity to define the Ukrainisms linguistic status. The article scientific novelty lies in the fact that Ukrainisms are considered as a means of speech aggression explication. The descriptive method allows to determine the peculiarities of the Ukrainisms inclusion in the recipient language. The method of quantitative analysis is used to analyse the frequency of the declared linguistic units usage and confirm the study results. The application of comparative analysis method has enabled to study the features of two closely related languages interaction; it also has allowed to compare the existing scientific concepts and determine the work theoretical significance. The result of our study is estimated as the classification of Ukrainisms extracted from popular Telegram channels by means of continuous sampling. Ukrainisms in the Russian language have mainly negative connotations and can be considered as a means of speech aggression expressing. They are used to achieve a comic effect, to express hidden and obvious contradictions between communicants, to strengthen negative attitudes towards Ukrainians.
