Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for Solving Complex Environmental Health Challenges
Authors/Creators
Description
In today’s increasingly interconnected world, human health is profoundly influenced by a web of environmental factors. From traditional concerns like air and water pollution to emerging threats such as microplastics and persistent chemical contaminants, the environmental risks we face are no longer isolated or easily traceable. Historically, environmental health (EH) research has approached these challenges by simplifying complex realities—studying individual pollutants and their health effects in isolation. Yet, as the number and interactions of pollution sources have grown, this approach has struggled to capture the true scope of combined and often unpredictable risks.
