Authors/Creators
Description
Socio-psychological training programs are designed to enhance individuals' cognitive, emotional, and social capabilities, offering tools that help them navigate complex social and psychological challenges. These programs, which emphasize the interaction between emotional intelligence (EI), communication skills, and interpersonal relations, are gaining traction in educational settings. The current study explores how socio-psychological skills foster an environment conducive to effective learning, mainly through enhancing emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Results suggest that integrating socio-psychological training into educational curricula positively impacts students' academic success, mental health, and overall personal development. The paper synthesizes findings from numerous studies to assess the effectiveness of socio-psychological training programs in enhancing student outcomes. This review will be of value to educators, curriculum developers, policymakers, and researchers seeking evidence-based strategies to enhance student development through socio-psychological training.
