The data and R_code provided here accompany the publication "Data on transgenerational memory effects of photosynthetic efficiency of twelve wheat varieties under elevated carbon dioxide concentration and reduced soil water availability" by Berauer et al. (2025) in the Journal Data In Brief. For details on the methodological procedure and the study's background please see the above-mentioned article.
This data investigates the transgenerational memory effects of the photosynthetic efficiency (Vcmax and Jmax) of twelve agricultural winter wheat varieties exposed to increased carbon dioxide levels and reduced soil water availability. The data was measured within an experiment under highly controlled environmental conditions within climate chambers using the novel Dynamic Assimilation Technique (following Saathoff & Welles 2021).
The R-code can be used to process the photosynthesis raw data and calculate the ACi fits in a reproducible environment.
