The Pattern Layer: A Geometric Foundation for Initial Lock, Energy Creation, and Reality Growth in Recognition Physics

This paper explores the pattern layer in Recognition Physics (RP) as a timeless geometric shape that unifies the initial pattern lock, energy creation, and reality growth through dark energy. Building on dual recognition and minimal overhead principles, we propose that the pattern layer, formed by an initial seed event, con- tains all possible states, with the reality layer as its dynamic snapshot. Simulations (e.g., forward cost: 2.7591, alteration cost: 9.0293) and telepathic evidence from non-speakers demonstrate how recognition selects paths within this shape, generating energy at lock-in and expanding reality via dark energy. We argue that this framework explains the universe’s origin, ener- getic evolution, and future mutability without invoking a multiverse, offering a parameter-free model of a single, self-contained reality.
