Description
Data, code and figures for estimation of use of CMS Open Data for research
The python scripts in /data query arXiv for abstracts that contain "CMS Open Data" and Inspire for publications that cite CMS Open Data DOIs. The results of each query are output to separate json files. The json files are analyzed in the notebook. Papers authored by CMS collaborators and members of the CERN open data team are excluded from the results. Plots produced in the notebook are output to /figs.
