Soundscape and Peale's dolphins. San Isidro, Chile, December 2021.

Audio files recorded in the strait of Magellan, south of Punta Arena, by the lighthouse of San Isidro, Region de Magallanes, Chile, from Dec, 07th 2021 to Dec, 11th 2021 (UTC).

The files with more than 500 detected NBHF(Narrow Band High Frequency) clicks have been uploaded. The visual follow up shows that the cetaceans are Peale’s dolphins (Lagenorhynchus australis). On file with low frequency sounds possibly emitted by the Peale's dolphin is also included ( 20211211_045835UTC_V12.wav )

Instrument is QHB Recorder from Smiot, Université de Toulon (http://bioacoustics.lis-lab.fr/smiot), set with sample rate of 512 Ksps, sampling depth of 16 bits, and C57 Cetacean Research hydrophone.
