Description
Joy and sorrow are an integral part of life. Law is made for the welfare of the people. It is also said that contentment is the root of all happiness. Everyone wants to survive in a society with happiness; conversely no one desires to fall into a situation of unhappiness. Some legal scholars of the world put emphasis on the scheme of utilitarianism in jurisprudence the actions which ensure happiness or utilities for the maximum people relate to the philosophy of utilitarianism in jurisprudence. It has been advanced by different famous jurists of the world, i.e., Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill who are regarded as foundational intellectuals in utilitarianism of jurisprudence.
