Dual-band Unified Exploration of Three CMZ Clouds (DUET). The Release of ALMA 1.3 mm and 3 mm Continuum Images and Catalogs

This repository publishes the continuum data sets and catalogs of the DUET project,

Dual-band Unified Exploration of Three CMZ Clouds (DUET). Cloud-wide Census of Continuum Sources Showing Low Spectral Indices

The ALMA continuum images (in FITS format) are named as,

"{Cloud}.{Band}.{Type}.fits"

1. Cloud: the three DUET clouds including The20kmsCloud, SgrC, and SgrB1off (or cloud e in the paper).
2. Band:
   • B3: ALMA band-3 or 3 mm, with a representative frequency of 93.6 GHz.
   • B6: ALMA band-6 or 1.3 mm, with a representative frequency of 226.0 GHz.
3. Type: the image types, including original beam continuum image "cont.image", common beam continuum image "cont.commonbeam.image" and primary beam response "cont.image.pb". To reproduce the primary-beam corrected images, one can divide "*cont.(commonbeam).image" by "*cont.image.pb".

The ALMA continuum catalogs (obtained by getsf, published in latex format) are named as,

"{Cloud}.{Cat}_{Beam}_publish.txt"

1. Cloud: the three DUET clouds including The20kmsCloud, SgrC, and SgrB1off (or cloud e in the paper).
2. Cat: the types of catalogs. See more details of each catalog and their comparison in Sect. 3.2 of the paper.
   • mbcat01: 1.3 mm mono-band catalog.
   • mbcat02: 3 mm mono-band catalog.
   • dbcat: dual-band catalog.
3. Beam: the beam type when performing getsf algorithm; commonbeam: dual-band images have a common beam; originalbeam: dual-band images keep their original beams, and 1.3 mm beam is generally smaller than 3 mm beam.

Note: you can read the catalogs by Python "astropy.table.Table" Class in the built-in LaTex format,

The original-resolution figures (in PDF format) include,

"RGBdualband_zoomin_{Cloud}_publish.pdf": the dual-band continuum emission displayed in a two-color composite RGB map. Red is 3 mm and cyan is 1.3 mm.

"mbcat{Band}_{Cloud}_publish.pdf": the continuum sources at monochromatic bands, "B3" for 3 mm and "B6" for 1.3 mm, overlaid on the continuum images.

"dbcat_{Cloud}_publish.pdf": the continuum sources at dual bands, overlaid on the dual-band composite continuum images.
