Description

Data and code for the paper: "Prediction of impedance characteristic during electrical stimulation with microelectrode arrays"

Data overview:

  • FEM simulations: In FEM_simulations.zip, all code and ParaView files to reproduce the visulations can be found.
  • Electrochemical impedance scpectroscopy data: in EIS_measurement.zip, all data and fitting scripts to process the EIS data are deposited.
  • Transient measurements and results of processing: this data is required to reproduce the figures in the paper. It is deposited in ReviewJNE_ImpedanceData.zip. Please use the denspp.stimulation code to process it and follow the README deposited with the code.
  • denspp.stimulation code: The code repository at the time of the paper publication is attached in denspp.stimulation.zip. Please refer to the README inside there to process the data and generate the plots shown in the paper.

Code:

The code for processing the voltage and current transients is actively developed on GitHub, please open an issue there if you encounter problems or have questions.

The FEM simulations were conducted with NGSolve, install it via pip (pip install ngsolve==6.2.2307).
