UNINA's recent study, published in Energy Conversion and Management: X, introduces an innovative mathematical model for simulating hybrid-electric powerplants designed for regional propeller-driven aircraft. This pioneering approach integrates conventional thermal engines with fuel cell systems and batteries, supporting up to two independent propulsion lines.

UNINA extends sincere gratitude to the HERA research project by Clean Aviation for funding and supporting this research.
