Description

Initial conditions used in the manuscript "Simulating major element diffusion in garnet using realistic 3D geometries" from Dominguez et al. 2025. Each file corresponds to a model at a specific resolution. EGM corresponds to euhedral garnet model, OGM to open garnet model, and IMM, to isolated matrix model. Three resolutions are included: 256^3, 512^3, and 768^3. Each file is a JL2D file containing five 3 arrays: the compositions in Mg, Ca, Fe and Mn in the garnet domain and the location of the contact between the garnet domain and the matrix domain as a binary matrix. These files can be read with the package JL2D.jl.
